#Offerings001: Introduction to Permaculture & Regenerative Design
An eight-part series on cultivating a design mindset for your home, your community, and your world
This series covers the fundamentals of permaculture design as outlined in Bill Mollison's Introduction to Permaculture. We look at wayts to cultivate a design mindset using Christopher Alexander’s The Timeless Way of Building and A Pattern Language. Other material will include Toby Hemenway’s Gaia Garden’s, Masonobu Fukuoka’s Natural Way of Farming, Ben Falk’s The Resilient Farm and Homestead, and David Fleming’s Lean Logic.
This course is designed for community organizers, builders, and change agents, offering practical tools to create resilient, sustainable systems. By applying permaculture and regenerative design principles, participants will explore whole-system approaches to transforming their individual lives and the places they love. Through a blend of theory and practice, learners will gain the skills to design harmonious landscapes and communities that nurture both people and the environment.
